Jannah

The Islamic notion of paradise is known as Jannah (Arabic: ), or “heaven.” The Arabic wordJanna is a shorter form of the word “Garden,” and it simply means “Garden.” Islamic eschatology holds that after death, one will remain in his or her grave until the scheduled resurrection onYawm al-Qiymah.
